On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive.
From the sick minds behind Bloodwash – Black Eyed Priest (aka Jordan King) and Henry Hoare – comes their latest experiment in terror. Inspired by the Italian zombie flicks from Lucio Fulci and Bruno Mattei, Night at the Gates of Hell promises to be a blood-dripping, neon-soaked, flesh-rotting experience.
“Let the feast begin!”
Prepare yourself for another gore-drenched journey into horror debauchery with the latest release from Puppet Combo and Torture Star Video: Deadly Night, stalking players (2 September) on Steam and itch.io!
“You’ll be dying to stay here…”
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City brings all the original characters from the video game series (specifically Resident Evil 1 & 2), like Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Sherry Birkin, William Birkin, and many others.
“Witness the beginning of evil.”
Based on the film of the same name, Turbo Kid is the upcoming gory homage to classic Metroidvanias of the ‘90s (with a few unexpected spins!) by developer Outerminds.
“Zeus is dead. Friendships were made. But now The Kid has a new mission.”
Easter 1985. Anthony Smith, more commonly known as The Easter Ripper, is executed after being convicted for the murder spree of several young children he had abducted from a shopping mall – under the guise of The Easter Bunny – and tortured at his “murder house”, leaving lives shattered and families ripped apart.
“Tonight, we’ll go inside his vacant home, where 11 innocent children spent their final moments in agonizing pain and terror.”
Your worst nightmare personified, the Bubble Head Nurse from Silent Hill 2 joins the Living Dead Dolls family! Fairly aggressive in nature, this shrieking and gurgling monster is every night terror you’ve ever had…
“Don’t worry, I’m not crazy… at least, I don’t think so.”
Radar Pictures has secured the film rights to BlindSide, the world’s first audio-only mobile adventure game. The project will be developed as Unseen, a horror feature about a couple who wake up blind in a terrifying world they cannot recognize.
“This film will truly bring the fear of the unknown to life by putting the focus of storytelling on what you hear.”
Released in 2013, How to Survive is a survival horror, action role-playing video game that has not aged well in a market flooded with zombie-themed action-fare. I’m surprised this even has a sequel!
“Thanks to my survival guide, you will get through this.”
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is a third-person shooter where you play Alec Mason, who has just arrived on Mars looking for work. He barely has time to breathe before he’s thrust into a war between the Earth Defense Force (EDF) and the Red Faction.
I slowly lugged through the game, having no motivation to even finish it. It’s not innovative in its gameplay. The only reason to play it is for the visuals, but even that gets stale after a short time. I think it was perfect Madmind Studio called it Agony because getting to the end is nothing but agonizing.
“I promise that your destiny will soon be fulfilled.”
Netflix have done a brilliant job at exploring the Castlevania story with this season, which is twice the length of the first and has a lot more Dracula. For anyone who didn’t see the first season there’s only two things you need to know: First- Dracula has declared war on the human race after the Church killed his wife. Second- Trevor Belmont (the last descendant of the famous monster fighting family) and Sypha Belnades (a witch) have joined forces with Alucard (Dracula’s son) to defeat the vampire lord himself.
