Freestyle Digital Media has announced the cable, satellite and Digital HD release of the tension-ridden thriller Goodbye Honey, from director/co-writer Max Strand and co-writer/producer Todd Rawiszer. Dawn, a truck driver, pulls into a state park to get some sleep when she is ambushed by Phoebe, a young woman who claims she is fleeing from an abductor. Dawn is wary of Phoebe’s story, leading to a struggle that leaves her phone broken, the keys missing, and nothing but darkness between them and help. As the night progresses, it becomes clear they are not alone.
Fried Barry follows the story of a drug-addled degenerate who, after yet another bender, gets abducted by aliens. Barry takes a backseat as his alien visitor assumes control of his body and takes it for a joyride through Cape Town. What follows is an onslaught of drugs, sex and violence as Barry’s alien tourist enters the weird and wonderful world of humankind. Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, have announced that PG: Psycho Goreman will be available exclusively to stream on the platform starting 20th May. As a Shudder exclusive, the platform will be the only subscription service that will carry the film in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Shudder has announced that it has acquired all rights in its territories to horror comedy Scare Package, from creators Aaron B. Koontz and Cameron Burns. The anthology film, which delighted audiences at numerous festivals, features seven gleefully ghoulish tales from a range of horror subgenres. In Scare Package, Chad, the owner of Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium, recounts a series of bone-chilling, blood-splattered tales to illustrate the rules of the horror genre to his newest employee. Each story takes aim at different tropes, paying homage to and subverting the timeless clichés of the beloved genre.

Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North America rights to the Lynchian southern gothic thriller Union Bridge, the debut feature from writer/director Brian Levin. Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in March in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff and Levin, who is represented by UTA and Itay Reiss at Artists First. The film will arrive on DVD and VOD platforms 19 May. Union Bridge held its World Premiere at the New Filmmakers NY Film Festival, and stars Scott Friend, Emma Duncan, Alex Breaux, and Elisabeth Noone.
