Previously released by Scream Team Releasing on DVD, 10/31: A Halloween Horror Anthology finally makes its long-awaited digital premiere at the Kings of Horror Youtube Channel, through Terror Films. The plot has been described by the filmmakers as “a Halloween treat bag full of all the things that go bump in the night with something for everyone.” With segments that feature killers, tricksters, scarecrows and witches, the majority of horror fans will find something entertaining within this release. 10/31: A Halloween Horror Anthology was developed by some of indie horror’s best and brightest.
Terror Films has acquired the worldwide digital rights to Hunter Johnson’s Irrational Fear. The story centers around six therapy patients who are brought together at a secluded cabin. Here, they confront their strangest fears; including germs, bugs, drowning, choking and losing teeth, to name just a few. But these fears won’t just hurt them…they may very well kill them! Executive producer Kevin Sommerfield co-wrote the script with Johnson, who also produced alongside Chris Gierowski and Jay Sorenson. The film is set to hit digital platforms Friday, 24th July.
“Face them all!”
Dark Roads 79 has a talented cast and an intriguing story. The plot itself centers around a southern rock band known as Dark Roads, whose time in the spotlight has come to an abrupt end. To find a new sound and regain their fame and fortune, they head to a secluded cabin to work on a new album. One by one, each band member begins to meet their demise and the survivors soon discover that the front man of the band sold his soul to the devil – for the fame and fortune they’ve enjoyed. Now, the time has come to pay back this debt with their souls!
“The Death Tour!”
Indie genre distributor Terror Films has acquired the worldwide rights to Marvin Choi’s feature debut, A Knight’s Tour. In a post-apocalyptic world, J.D. is a young drifter suffering from an injury. Soon, J.D. finds himself at a secluded cabin occupied by Henry, a detached hermit. After their initial suspicions subside, these two strangers begin to form a friendship over a game of chess. When Henry discovers a notebook in J.D.’s backpack highlighting various locations that are now crossed off, Henry begins to question J.D.’s true intentions.
“The wrong move could be deadly.”
Take a group of six friends, add five courses of sumptuous food and sprinkle a generous amount of suspicion and motive before garnishing with a generous slice of debauchery and you have Murder Made Easy! As the opening titles roll against a jazz infused score I’m put in mind of both Woody Allen’s Annie Hall and Hitchcock’s suspenseful one-shot masterpiece, Rope. Directed by David Palamoro, Murder Made Easy is also (as the title insinuates) rooted in the playroom drama of Agatha Christie’s great murder mysteries.
“Dinner will be killer.”
Genre distributor Terror Films has acquired the worldwide digital rights to Dave Palamaro’s critically acclaimed “whodunnit” horror flick, Murder Made Easy. The film, which won the Indie Spirit Award from the 2017 Women in Horror Film Festival, centers around best pals Joan and Michael. Together, they invite their dearest friends over for a cordial dinner to discuss the passing of Joan’s husband, Neil. But as each guest arrives, dark secrets are revealed and murder is definitely on the menu.
“Dinner will be killer.”
Shudder recently announced their September line up and among the titles listed were two films from indie genre distributor Terror Films. The two films included: the highly anticipated Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, plus a fan and critic favorite that seemed to have all but disappeared from digital platforms – Adam Robitel’s award-winning feature debut, The Taking of Deborah Logan. The Taking of Deborah Logan will be released on Shudder beginning September 30, 2019. The official release date for the wider platform release is expected to be announced soon.
“Evil lives within you.”
Pack your bags for another terrifying stay at the infernal Abaddon Hotel. Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, the third installment in the hit found-footage horror franchise, has started production and will premiere exclusively on the streaming video service Shudder later this year.
“Hell House III will be taking a cue from the original Hell House LLC, returning to its roots to capture the same intensity and fear that fans and critics alike fell in love with.”
The highly anticipated sequel to Hell House LLC, entitled Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel, was initially released September 20th 2018 on the genre streaming site Shudder. After a three-month exclusive window on this platform, Terror Films will make this exciting haunter on several more digital services.
