Rising from the waves off the Tokyo coast is pop culture’s preeminent prehistoric powerhouse himself, the gargantuan Godzilla. In tribute to seven decades of reptilian wrath, artists Hector Arce, Mikey Bonanno and Tufan Sezer have tiki-fied cinema’s most iconic lizard for the first time ever.

Mondo is excited to unveil their plans as part of Comic-Con@Home, the virtual San Diego Comic-Con convention. Mondo debuts new official poster by artist Midnight Marauder for Amazon Studios’ The Vast of Night! This sci-fi tale of alien contact is set at the dawn of the space race in 1950s New Mexico, and celebrated its Texas premiere at Fantastic Fest with director Andrew Patterson and producers Melissa Kirkendall and Adam Dietrich in attendance.

The Dark Knight returns to Mondo Gallery this May with a brand new show eight decades in the making. Mondo Gallery’s 80 Years of Batman celebrates the history of the caped crusader, along with his allies and infamous rogues gallery of villains, with eighteen classic, iconic and fan-favorite Batman comic book cover images produced as screen printed posters. Opening night for 80 Years of Batman will be held Friday, 17 May, and the show will run through 25 May.

Mondo Music is kicking off the witching season early this year. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Halloween, Mondo and Death Waltz Recording Company are re-issuing the soundtracks to the first five Halloween franchise films on vinyl.
