Celebrate Halloween with big screams on the biggest screen! Forbidden Worlds Film Festival returns with a three-day horror-themed film festival at the former Bristol IMAX, screening a selection of celebrated cult classics (28-30 October) whose VHS covers intrigued and terrified those browsing the aisles of their local video rental shop.
They say there’s nothing new under the sun. Well, Fright-Rags is gonna kick your ass with Tremors, Day of the Dead, An American Werewolf in London, The Evil Dead, and Evil Dead 2 apparel.
“They say there’s nothing new under the sun. But under the ground…”
Edinburgh itself is a breathtaking city, but during August each year it becomes a hub for arts and culture. This year I wanted to write about my experience and review three of my personal highlights from the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Each show is darkly humorous and worthy of your time if they make an appearance at next year’s Fringe, or perhaps elsewhere.
“If this isn’t what you were expecting – well, what were you expecting?”
Whether you prefer Sam Raimi’s 1981 indie horror landmark or his black humor-injected 1987 sequel, Fright-Rags returns to the cabin in the woods with new The Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2 merchandise.
You are also cordially invited to spend an evening with Fright-Rags, Roger Cobb and his friends. Four t-shirts have been created for House and House II: The Second Story. Don’t forget to come out to play with The Warriors apparel. Can you dig it?
