Waxwork Records is thrilled to announce the release of Child’s Play original 1988 motion picture music by Joseph Renzetti! Child’s Play is a 1988 American horror film directed by Tom Holland and starring Brad Dourif and Catherine Hicks.
It’s been thirty-one years since the release of Tom Holland and Don Mancini’s original Child’s Play, the notorious slasher-horror-comedy hybrid with an avid cult following. After six sequels under the Child’s Play and Chucky titles, director Lars Klevberg and screenwriter Tyler Burton-Smith have delivered a complete re-imagining of the original, set in the modern day. The question that comes up is “is this necessary?”, a fair inquiry, as some may consider the franchise to be over-saturated. However, it’s important to say that I’ve never seen any of the previous films, including the 1988 original…
“More than a toy… he’s your best friend.”
Fright-Rags embraces the legacy of Child’s Play with a new collection of Chucky t-shirts and trading cards. And just when you thought it was safe to go into the water this summer, Fright-Rags releases new Jaws merchandise.
“Surprise! Did you miss me, Andy? I sure missed you. I told you. We were gonna be friends to the end. And now, it’s time to play…”
Fright-Rags’ Chucky collection includes four T-shirts, five enamel pins, and two pairs of socks. Various designs of the iconic killer doll, throughout the Child’s Play franchise, are represented by artists Eddie Holly, Nathan Milliner, Jason Edmiston, Matthew Skiff, Matt Ryan Tobin and Sara Deck.
