Having bought the rights to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre slasher franchise from The Cannon Group, New Line Cinema, “the house that Freddy built”, began production on a new sequel with the intention of “going back to hard-core horror”. Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III attempts to bring back the franchise to its unhinged roots, where the saw is family and dire situations lead to viscera. If only scriptwriter David J. Schow and director Jeff Burr’s vision had remained intact. “Some tales are told, then soon forgotten… but a legend is forever!”
“Blood is life!” To usher in the spooky happenings of Halloween 🎃 Comet TV, Charge! and Attack from Planet B are giving you the chance to win Nosferatu, Babylon 5 and CHiPs merchandise. Of course, it will cost you some effort… a little sweat and… perhaps… a little blood.
Competition ends Sunday, November 4th 2018

“Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.”
In 1968, George A. Romero established the modern zombie film with his raw and terrifying debut the Night of the Living Dead, one of the most well-regarded and influential horror movies of all time. Now, 50 years after it all began, there’s a new entry into the undying franchise: Day the Dead: Bloodline
“They won’t stay dead!”

“Believe me, you don’t want Hannibal Lecter inside your head.”
What began as a birthday barbecue ended in a bizarre tragedy in New Jersey today. It was a lawnmower that brought a quick end to the life of 21-year old, bride-to-be, Elizabeth Shelley.
But death by lawnmower is not the end of the strange twists in this case. Yes, apparently parts of her are missing. She’s just one giant jigsaw puzzle. And Gutter Garbs intend to collect the pieces.
“Looking for some action?”
“Why do you wanna fight?” Comet TV, Charge! and Attack from Planet B can’t sing or dance, so we are gonna give one randomly chosen person the strength to win Space 1999, Godzilla and Rocky merchandise instead. “You’re gonna eat lightnin’ and you’re gonna crap thunder!”
Competition ends Tuesday, October 2nd 2018
Creepy Company’s retro-inspired t-shirt is a loving homage to the cult spoof staple of the late 1980s, Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout. Let’s gather ’round the fire and teach some zombies some new stretches in this red unisex tee, and officially licensed enamel pins!
“SEE! Linnea shape up the living dead through zombiecise!”
This late 90s vampire tale is an essential watch for any fan of low budget indie gore and Hammer classics. Lilith Silver is the ‘girl power’ embodiment of modern vampires. In skin tight PVC, Silver is an ass-kicking, sexually confident vampiric hit woman, using her undead attributes to carry out the most daring executions. But life is never simple and her choice of career brings her to the attention of occult group The Illuminati who are hell bent on preserving their own existence against whoever is hiring her to eliminate them. Armed with their skills in dark magic and with Mason-like influence in the police and government, The Illuminati set out to take down Lilith ‘The Angel of Death’ Silver, in a gory, sexual game of cat and mouse.
“Part Seductress. Part Assassin. All Vampire.”
Fright Night Part 2 would only work if its main vampire – following the iconic Jerry Dandrige – was strong. Regine Dandridge, the sister of Jerry, was played wonderfully by Julie Carmen. Sultry, sexy with a huge element of danger, Carmen truly became part of the Fright Night universe with this performance.
“Fright Night Part 2 would have evaporated into the ethers if it were not for some dear loyal souls who originally saw the film and who continue to talk about the effect it had on them while growing up.”
Remember the days when films were captured on, well, film? You don’t? Whippersnapper. Respectable and reserved editor Eddie Swenson does. So when he’s transferred from his quiet, restrained art house section, to the brash, blood soaked vistas of the splatter and gore department, he realises why watching hours and hours of video violence may cause one to lose their head. You see, his predecessor went out with an, errrm…bang, after chowing down on a hand grenade. So Ed’s boss Samuel Campbell ‘promotes’ him to a domain that produces the ‘Loose Limbs’ series.
