In collaboration with Waxwork Records, Sacred Bones Records is proud to announce Parasite original motion picture soundtrack by Jung Jae Il in four limited and exclusive double LP variants; featuring artwork by Greg Ruth!
Parasite, the seventh feature film by Korean director Bong Joon Ho, premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it took the coveted Palme d’Or for best film in competition. Since then, it has become the most critically acclaimed film of the year. For the film’s bracingly original score, Bong turned to Jung Jae Il, who brings the world of Parasite to life with plaintive piano and stirring strings.
Three 2xLP variants are available from Sacred Bones Records; a peach coloured vinyl (limited to 500) is available by mail-order only, whilst the Sacred Bones Record Society vinyl (limited to 150) is pressed on exclusive “Scholar’s Rock” colored vinyl. “Green Grass” colored vinyl is also available (limited to 2000). Finally, Waxwork Records have their own limited edition “Green Grass and Black Swirl” colored vinyl.
