This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the Mars Attacks trading cards by Topps, under than name Bubbles Inc. in 1962, which went on to be a major Hollywood film 1996.
So here at Attack from Planet B we thought we would take a little look at the tarding card phenomena of the 60s that was Mars Attacks. Taking inspiration from the classic pulp science fiction comics by EC Comics of the 40s and 50s and the B-movies of the time, The Mars Attacks trading cards are everything that Planet B is about.

A look at the work by the man that brought us some of the most iconic movie posters of the 50s & 60s, from Creature from the Black Lagoon to Attack of the 50 ft. Woman, producing over 300 posters for the motion picture industry.
His work has also been used in many of the great mainstream pictures of the time such as Ben Hur and A Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
