This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the Mars Attacks trading cards by Topps, under than name Bubbles Inc. in 1962, which went on to be a major Hollywood film 1996.

Perhaps better known for his moody gore-laced excursions of the late 70s and 80s, Lucio Fulci was also a master of the Italian thriller genre known as giallo, directing two of its finest entries: Don’t Torture a Duckling and the renowned classic A Lizard in a Woman’s Skin.
