A Classic Horror Treat This Halloween

The Classic Horror Campaign was set up to persuade the BBC to bring back their iconic Saturday night classic horror double bills which were so popular on television in the seventies and early eighties. We host a regular series of classic horror double bill screenings in London at the Roxy Bar & Screen and recently organised the hugely successful Frighten Brighton Classic Horror Film Festival on the U.K.’s south coast. We aim to continue celebrating cult films and bringing classic horror to the masses!

On Sunday 21st October Cyberschizoid and Filmbar70 team up with special guest host Dr Karen Oughton to present a carnival of horrors featuring creepy classic Carnival Of Souls (1962) and cult British fear flick The Blood On Satan’s Claw (1971). Cyberschizoid (AKA Richard Gladman) is a writer, reviewer, film festival organiser and founder of the Classic Horror Campaign. Doctor Karen Oughton is a journalist, broadcaster and film and media studies lecturer.

The Classic Horror Campaign Double Feature

Sponsored by Shock Horror Magazine, this classic horror double bill takes place at the Roxy Bar & Screen, one of London’s leading boutique cinema venues. So be there…and be scared!
